Sarwark Loses to NOTA in New Hampshire LP Treasurer Race
Former Libertarian Party Chairman Nick Sarwark left his post months ago tattered by the criticism of many in the party for his handling of numerous situations. Now the backlash from the part is starting to become well apparent as Sarwark ran unopposed for the treasurer’s position in the New Hampshire Libertarian Party and still lost that race to NOTA.
Nick Sarwark lost his bid for Treasurer of the NH LP by a vote of 34-21— Libertarian-In-Chief (@ToddHagopian) March 20, 2021
He had no opponent…he lost to NOTA
The Libertarian Party Mises Caucus is taking credit for this defeat as they made waves in the NHLP Convention by raising a ton of money for the state party and cementing their place as a force to be reckon with inside the LP.
According to Jonathan Rowland “they voted Nota because the LPMC member they wanted as treasurer couldn’t run under the bylaws because he was too new to the party. (4 months vs 6 month min) So they voted nota so there’d be a chance to change that bylaw.”
