Congresswoman Lauren Boebert Denied Entry to House Floor; Refused to Have Her Bag Searched
The House of Representatives has installed metal detectors that all members now have to go through in order to gain access to the House floor. Already, newly sworn in Congresswoman Lauren Boebert from Colorado had a standoff with Capitol Police as she refused a search of her bag that set off the new metal detectors.
Boebert has made a name for herself as the Congresswoman that wants to carry a gun at the U.S. Capitol. She had some Republican lawmakers coming to her defense in a stand off that last about 10 minutes.
