Colorado Congresswoman Elect Pledges to Object to Electoral College Vote
The United States Congress is set to meet in joint session in January 6th to certify the 2020 Presidential election. A handful of Republican members are pledging to object to certain states votes based on false allegations from the President.
Colorado Congresswoman Elect Lauren Boebert is the latest to make the pledge.
Not sure how the Constitution is guiding her on this one but go ahead and try to make a name for yourself.
Unfortunately, for her this will not get far as a Senator has to agree to the objection and it seems that there is no support there. Even if there was it would be voted down by both chambers and just be grandstanding by a newly elected member to make a name for themselves.
