This morning Congressman Justin Amash appeared on CNN’s State of the Union. “We need someone who’s going to come in as president, respect our Constitution, defend our rights, and fix our representative system of government so that people will actually feel represented at home.”
The national media attention that Amash is getting is huge for the Libertarian Party. With Amash becoming the first Libertarian in Congress and the run for President the party is on good footing to be successful in 2020.

I like Justin Amash, but would have a few questions, not the least of which would be about our lack of real representation since the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929. I would also like to ask about replacing the Income Tax with a national sales tax.
