Trump Tweet About Amash Candidacy Shows He is Worried About the Potential Challenger
It didn’t take long for President Trump to take to Twitter and attack Congressman Justin Amash and his entry into the 2020 Presidential race.
The fact that Trump even acknowledged Amash’s campaign for the Presidency shows that the President is worried about the potential impact the Congressman will have on the 2020 election. An election that will be the most unique election in American history shadowed behind a global pandemic which has restricted everyone to their houses.
Amash made a name for himself the past year but defecting from the GOP, challenging Trump in Congress, supporting the Impeachment of the President, and now becoming the first Libertarian member of Congress. He has publicly expressed his displeasure with Trump and the Republican Party that has lost its way in their blind support of Trump.
