The Libertarian Party is meeting in their national convention in Orlando, Florida. There are many viable candidates making the pledge that they should be the parties nominee for President.
The Libertarian Vindicator has a source that confirms Gary Johnson is well on his way to surpassing the majority of delegates necessary to be nominated on the first ballot. There has been a lot of buzz created by national media attention on this convention, and there are certain candidates screaming loudly in their own echo chamber making it look like the party is ready to reject Gary Johnson, but it looks like the former two-term governor of New Mexico will be nominated for the second time in a row on the first ballot tomorrow morning.
This is such a history making event that the mainstream press in this country has been covering it nonstop. Here is the new CNN piece on the convention from this morning.
